Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Verity Hearing, our guidance services, and how we help you make a clearer hearing aid decision.

Is Verity a hearing aid company?+

No. Verity Hearing does not sell hearing aids. We provide independent decision guidance to help you understand your options before you buy. We do not receive manufacturer kickbacks, and we do not push one clinic, brand, or technology level over another.

Does Verity Hearing sell hearing aids?+

No. Verity Hearing does not sell hearing aids, program devices, perform fittings, or receive manufacturer kickbacks. Our role is to provide independent educational guidance so you can better understand your options before you commit.

Does Verity Hearing receive clinic commissions?+

No. Verity Hearing is built around independent customer guidance, not clinic commissions. If vetted or preferred provider options are presented, they are presented transparently and customers are never required to use a specific provider.

What is the Hearing Care Resolution Call?+

The Hearing Care Resolution Call is a paid call for people who need fast help with a hearing-aid, provider, insurance, service, quote, or next-step question. It includes an up to 20-minute live call with a Verity hearing care professional and a personalized email recap with clear action items sent within 24 hours after your call. It does not include a written guide or ongoing support.

What is the Personalized Guidance Package?+

The Personalized Guidance Package is structured support for people who want their hearing-aid situation organized, reviewed, and discussed. It includes a guided intake form, customized written guide and analysis, a 20 to 30-minute consultative call, one follow-up call or check-in, 14 days of reasonable email support related to the guide and action plan, and clear next steps.

What is the Concierge Navigation Package?+

The Concierge Navigation Package is Verity Hearing's most hands-on option. It includes everything in Personalized Guidance, plus a 14-day active navigation window, research into realistic paths, provider coordination where appropriate, total cost modeling, comparison support, appointment preparation materials, up to 3 calls during the navigation window, responsive email support during the decision window, and a final recommendation with rationale.

Who reviews the guide?+

Your guide is prepared and reviewed with hearing-care professional and hearing instrument specialist involvement, drawing on extensive hands-on experience in hearing aid technology, patient counseling, insurance navigation, and real-world listening needs. Verity has no financial relationships with manufacturers, clinics, or insurance companies. Guidance is based on your situation and the best available information. Verity provides educational buying guidance only and does not diagnose or treat hearing loss, perform hearing tests, fit or program hearing aids, or replace care from a licensed audiologist or hearing instrument specialist.

Is Verity a hearing clinic?+

No. Verity is not a hearing clinic and does not provide hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, programming, diagnosis, or medical treatment. Verity provides independent educational guidance to help you better understand hearing-aid buying options, quotes, insurance paths, OTC vs prescription considerations, and questions to ask before committing.

How can I contact Verity?+

You can contact Verity Hearing by phone at (214) 945-4788, by email at support@verityhearing.com, or through the Contact page. Verity is a virtual guidance service, so support is provided by email, written guide, and scheduled call rather than in-person clinic visits.

What is the written guide?+

The written guide is a personalized analysis included with the Personalized Guidance Package and Concierge Navigation Package. It organizes your hearing situation, quote details, insurance questions, provider options, and next steps so you can make a clearer decision. You can view a sample guide on our homepage.

How is the guide different from just reading about hearing aids online?+

The guide is personalized to your specific situation, hearing history, current concerns, lifestyle, quotes you have received, insurance benefits, and the decision you are trying to make. Rather than generic advice, you get guidance that reflects your actual circumstances, organized into clear, actionable next steps.

Can the guide help if I already have a quote?+

Yes. The guide is especially useful if you already have a clinic quote, insurance benefit, online offer, or specific hearing aid brand you are considering. It helps you evaluate what you have been offered against what matters most in your situation, and identifies questions you should ask before committing.

Is this medical advice?+

No. Verity does not diagnose or treat hearing loss, perform hearing tests, fit or program hearing aids, or replace care from a licensed audiologist or hearing instrument specialist. We provide educational decision guidance to help you better understand hearing aid buying options and prepare better questions for licensed hearing care professionals.

Should I use Verity instead of seeing a hearing professional?+

No. Verity provides educational buying guidance only. If you need a hearing test, diagnosis, medical evaluation, fitting, programming, or treatment, you should see a licensed hearing professional or appropriate medical provider. Verity can help you prepare better questions before you buy, but it does not replace clinical care.

Can Verity diagnose hearing loss or adjust my hearing aids?+

No. Verity Hearing provides educational buying guidance only. We do not diagnose hearing loss, perform hearing tests, remove wax, repair hearing aids, program hearing aids, or replace care from a licensed hearing professional.

What if I have sudden hearing loss or a medical concern?+

If you have sudden hearing loss, ear pain, drainage, dizziness, or urgent medical symptoms, contact a licensed medical provider promptly. Verity Hearing is not a medical service and does not provide emergency or diagnostic care.

Who is this best for?+

Verity is best for adults considering hearing aids who want help understanding options, pricing, quotes, insurance benefits, OTC devices, prescription hearing aids, technology levels, and next steps before committing to a major purchase. It is also helpful for family members helping a spouse, parent, or loved one navigate the decision.

How long does the guide intake take?+

Most people complete the guided questions in about 5–10 minutes. You do not need to know every answer. Just share what you can, and we will work with that to build your personalized guide. Guides are prepared and delivered within 24 hours after your completed intake and payment.

Does Verity work with specific hearing aid brands or clinics?+

No. Verity is completely independent. We do not have financial relationships with hearing aid manufacturers, clinics, or retailers. Our guidance is based on your situation and needs, not on steering you toward a particular brand, provider, or purchase path.
